What is Pilates?
Pilates, developed by Joseph Pilates, is a series of controlled movements which strengthen core muscles (including pelvic floor) and improve balance using body weight, pilates rings and stability balls.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Suitable for every level, anyone suffering from lower back pain, anyone who wants to improve their strength, co-ordination and balance.
WHAT TO EXPECT A Pilates Class
Working floor and standing poses using bodyweight, pilates rings and stability balls, usually for ten repetitions and co-ordinated with breath. The teacher will provide variations and you can make it as challenging as you wish.
